This newly constructed, 300,000-square-foot, outpatient hospital in New Jersey was designed as a modern, multipurpose medical facility supporting research, radiation therapy, counseling services, simulation training, conferences, and community education.

Outfitting a 10-story hospital with audiovisual systems is not about installing equipment, it’s about designing infrastructure that supports communication, patient care, and life-saving collaboration.
Each floor presented a completely different set of requirements:

By being involved early, we were able to align conduit pathways, infrastructure planning, equipment locations, and system design with the overall architectural vision, preventing costly redesigns and ensuring seamless execution during construction.

In-House Amphitheater: Education Without Barriers
The hospital’s amphitheater serves as a hub for medical presentations, research updates, and staff education.
CSAV installed a massive 193” HD projection system engineered for visibility in a large-scale learning environment.
To ensure accessibility for all attendees, the sound system was augmented with an assisted listening solution utilizing copper wire installed beneath the flooring. This creates a magnetic field compatible with tele-coil hearing aids, allowing every attendee to hear clearly from anywhere in the room.
The Video Wall: First Impressions. Real-Time Communication
In a facility welcoming thousands of patients, visitors, and medical professionals, communication must be immediate and impactful.
The custom video wall installation serves as:
