About the Client

Baltusrol Golf Club is a private Golf Club located in northern New Jersey. Baltusrol is considered one of the country’s premier golf clubs. They have hosted 7 of the US Open Golf Tournaments, 4 U.S. Amateur, 2 U.S. Women’s Open, 2 U.S. Women’s Amateur, and 2 PGA Championships. Rich in history, Baltusrol Golf Club was founded in 1895. Today, this golf club features a lower course and upper course, a clubhouse which includes several dining areas, hotel rooms for members to stay overnight, banquet space, and conference/meeting rooms. Baltusrol Golf Club also features a Performance Center and Fitness Center.

The Challenge

As Baltusrol Golf Club renovated its clubhouse, there was a simultaneous need for renovating their technology solutions throughout the Clubhouse, as well as various other areas within their Golf Club. The initial task for CSAV Systems was creating a custom package that can help support their day-to-day operations, while also designing sleek and innovative solutions that set this venue apart from other golf and country clubs in the surrounding Northern New Jersey Area.

During the process, the Clubhouse at Baltusrol Golf Club suffered from devastating fire damage, which also created an additional challenge in the renovations.

The Solution

CSAV Systems provided sound and video systems for Baltusrol Golf Club, including Ceiling Mount Speaker Systems, Smart Display, LED Display Panel, Custom Framed TV monitors, Outdoor Speakers, Handheld and Lavalier wireless Microphones, Remote Control Digital Panels, Loudspeaker Management System and wireless presentation systems. CSAV Systems designed, implemented, and integrated audio/visual systems in the following areas within Baltusrol Golf Club:

a. Fitness Center – Speakers were installed throughout the entire first and second floor of the fitness center and locker room areas. Within the fitness center, CSAV Systems also installed LED Display Monitors, which allow for members to watch TV all throughout their workout.

b. Clubhouse – CSAV Systems installed and integrated technologies including high-definition monitors for members to enjoy watching in various rooms including dining and lounge areas. Throughout the clubhouse, CSAV Systems also implemented ceiling mounted speakers and outdoor speakers, which help enhance the sound ambiance throughout the entire club. Along with the sound system installations, digital control panels were also installed for staff members to easily adjust and control the A/V systems. We most recently installed a custom LED video wall panel that displays the scores and tiers of past and present golf members.

c. Guest Rooms – Within Baltusrol Golf Club, there are 24 guest rooms for members to book for overnight stays. In each hotel room, CSAV Systems installed a high-quality display monitor for guests to sit back, relax and watch TV after a day on the greens.

The Outcome

CSAV Systems was responsible for providing a vast array of sound and video systems at Baltusrol Golf Club. CSAV Systems offered custom-designed, installation, wiring, integration, and training to all these sound and video systems within this leading Golf Club located in Springfield, New Jersey.

The audiovisual systems helped boost the overall environment, while also further enhancing the building renovations. The team of Sales, Engineers, and Technicians at CSAV Systems worked hand-in-hand with the Clubhouse Managers and Project Managers to help ensure a smooth process.
