Pickleball Kingdom in Hamilton, New Jersey, opened its doors in February of 2025. The facility operates on a membership-based model featuringmany courts, a pro shop, a snack bar, a lounge, and a strong emphasis on community. Originally a warehouse, this40,500-square-foot building was transformed into a two-story,14-court complexwith a bright, open layout and plenty of room for players to enjoy the game.Pickleball Kingdom claims to be the largest indoor pickleball court franchisor in the United States, having awarded over 350 franchises nationwide and aiming for 40-45 locations open by the end of 2025

The Challenge

One of the biggest challenges our team faced during this project was the room’s acoustics. Since the facility was originally a large, open warehouse with high ceilings, hard surfaces, and minimal sound absorption, it created a highly reverberant environment. In spaces like this, audio can easily bounce and blur, making speech announcements and music nearly impossible to hear clearly without the right solutions. To overcome this, we carefully analyzed the acoustics of the building, selected speakers with precise coverage patterns, and strategically positioned them to direct sound toward players and spectators rather than letting it disperse into open space. Our goal was to deliver crisp, intelligible audio across the courts while minimizing echo and reverb throughout the facility.

The Solution

CSAV Systems provided and integrated custom sound and video systems for Pickleball Kingdom including digital signage, PodPlaysoftware, cameras, XM music, sound reinforcement, playback devices, and touch screen technology.

CSAV installed 14 LED display monitors so members can easily see which courts are assigned to which games, eliminating confusion, especially during tournaments with high traffic. Each court was also equipped with a touchscreen device for scorekeeping. With a tap of the “Instant Replay” button, live play automatically appears on the monitors. This feature not only helps resolve officiating disputes but also serves as a valuable teaching tool for newer players.

The XM music system created an engaging atmosphere for both players and spectators. An XM music system is an ideal fit for an indoor pickleball facility because it delivers consistent, commercial-free music that keeps the space energetic and welcoming without requiring constant staff oversight. It also integrates easily with multi-zone audio systems, allowing staff to control volume and music in different areas such as courts, lounges, and pro shops.
